Rental Terms and Conditions

You can find Rental Conditions on the quotation page of the reservation process. The Rate Details link is located to the right of the car type. The third and last step of the booking also has the Rental Conditions link at the bottom of the confirmation page. Please, take into consideration the fact that rental terms and conditions can differ depending on the country, car rental agent and type of the vehicle. You can also find Rental Terms and Conditions on the confirmation voucher. Don't forget to print it out and bring it with you.

Payment

Online payments can be made with Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron and Maestro/Laser. Also at the time of the pickup you will be required to provide a security deposit for the vehicle (minimum: Excess + Fuel + VAT), and this amount will be blocked on the primary drivers credit card. We DO NOT accept cash deposits, Maestro, Switch and debit cards (Visa Electron). Bring your credit card to the rental desk. You can find the list of the cards accepted by the suppliers in the rental conditions under "rate details".

Making Changes to Your Booking

Yes. Please prepare your booking ID. You will have to provide a description and details of the changes you wish to make. Go to http://carrental24h.com/mybooking/ to amend your booking. Please note we cannot guarantee you will receive the same rate as your original booking. Rates change frequently and are set by the car rental agents.

You can add more drivers on arrival and pay additional driver fee at the counter. These drivers must be present at the desk, provide their driver's license and sign the rental agreement.

Go to http://carrental24h.com/mybooking/ to change your pick-up or drop-off times and dates. Please note we cannot guarantee you will receive the same rate as your original booking. Rates change frequently and are set by the car rental agents.

Cancelling Your Booking

You can find detailed information in our Cancellation Policy.

Part-paid Rentals (when the booking deposit has been paid online and the balance is due on arrival at the rental desk):

If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the car rental booking date and at least 48 hours before pick up time, all funds will be reimbursed. If the booking is cancelled outside 7 days of the car rental booking date and at least 48 hours before the pickup time, all funds except a cancellation fee of EUR 25.00 and the card processing fee (where applicable), will be reimbursed. If the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before the pickup time, no funds will be reimbursed.

Prepaid Rentals (when the entire rental amount has been prepaid):

If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the car rental booking date and at least 48 hours before pick up time, all funds will be reimbursed. If the booking is cancelled outside 7 days of the car rental booking date and at least 48 hours before the pickup time, all funds except a cancellation fee of EUR 25.00 and the card processing fee (where applicable), will be reimbursed.  If the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before the pickup time, we will retain 3 days rental and the card processing fee (where applicable).

Post-paid Rentals (when the entire rental amount is due on arrival at the rental desk):

There is no cancellation fee.

In the event that you cancel or amend a credit/debit card booking CarTrawler will not be liable for any monetary losses suffered by you as a result of a change in monetary exchange rates between the time of your original booking and its subsequent cancellation or amendment (as applicable).

Your Voucher

Confirmation voucher is a document that will be sent to you by email after a successful reservation. You need to print it out and BRING it to the rental desk. When you pick up your car, you need to provide this voucher, otherwise the car rental supplier may refuse to rent a vehicle or request a different rate than was quoted before. If you do not produce your voucher at the rental desk, we cannot accept any appeal for a refund.

Please go to http://www.cartrawler.com/res/lookup.php to view and print an online version. DO NOT forget to take this to the rental desk with your driving license and the credit card.

If you do not provide the confirmation voucher at the time of pickup of the vehicle, the car rental supplier may apply a different rate than quoted or refuse to rent the vehicle. If you do not produce your voucher at the rental desk, we cannot accept any appeal for a refund.
